In my study of graphic

design, I slowly felt my

mind adapting to

minimalistic praise. My

inner hearts desire for

decay of material on my

fingers, collage, and

complex vulnerability

butted heads.



In cementing a warped

back portrait of Dear

Idil,

I puzzled tiles to

conceptualize how what’s

learned and what is in

our innate nature can

cause confusion and my

fear of conformity to

minimalism.





Bilingual Daydream

Traditional

Japanese Jiban

are worn as the

‘lingerie

layer’ to

kimono’s.



Wearing it outward

symbolizes freeing

myself from the

taboos of sexual

implication it may

imply in wearing

it as an outer garment.



Red provokes the desire

to free myself of

Japanese culture that

judges through

a traditional lens.
